For Residents and Non-Residents
- For residents, we open a standard account (cuenta corriente) — for receiving income, paying rent, school fees, insurance, and using Bizum.
- For non-residents — a non-resident account; you'll need a certificado de no residencia (we can arrange it for you).
What You'll Need
- NIE or foreign passport (for non-residents), proof of address and, if the bank requires it, proof of source of funds.
- We keep your part to a minimum: the firm handles the rest of the paperwork and negotiations with the bank.

- Can a non-resident open an account? Yes — we open non-resident accounts using a foreign passport and the certificado de no residencia. We'll find a bank where your case goes through.
- Can the account be opened remotely? In many cases, yes — some banks allow accounts to be opened remotely. If an in-person visit is required, we'll accompany you on site.
- How long does it take? Usually from a few days to a couple of weeks — it depends on the bank and how ready your documents are.
